Mariotto di Nardo

Mariotto di Nardo was a Florentine painter active in the late 14th and early 15th centuries, known for his altarpieces and devotional panels executed in the International Gothic style. He was a follower of Agnolo Gaddi and is documented in Florence between approximately 1394 and 1424, contributing to the rich tradition of Florentine panel painting. His works, which include polyptychs and Madonna compositions, are held in major museum collections and appear regularly at international auction houses.
