Manjit Bawa

Manjit Bawa was an Indian painter born in Dhuri, Punjab, India, celebrated for his vibrant, luminous canvases that blended Indian classical traditions with modernist sensibilities. He was known for his distinctive use of bold, saturated colors and fluid forms drawing inspiration from Sufi mysticism and Indian folk art. Bawa is regarded as one of the most significant Indian figurative painters of the 20th century.
