Koo Jeong-A is a Seoul-born, Paris-based artist known for her ephemeral, site-specific installations that explore themes of memory, perception, and the invisible forces shaping space. Working across drawing, sculpture, scent, sound, and large-scale environments, she creates understated yet immersive works that often disappear or transform over time, such as her celebrated glow-in-the-dark skateboarding ramp 'Autre Monde' (2011) commissioned for Tate Modern's Turbine Hall. Her work has been presented at major international venues including the Venice Biennale, Documenta, the Serpentine Gallery, and the Centre Pompidou, establishing her as a significant figure in contemporary conceptual and installation art.
