Ken Gonzales-Day

Ken Gonzales-Day is an American artist and scholar who works with photography, archives, and historical documentation. His practice examines themes of violence, racial history, and collective memory, particularly through interrogating historical photographic archives. He has worked extensively with lynching photography and other contested historical images.
