Jorge Alderete

Jorge Alderete is an Argentine visual artist, illustrator, and graphic designer born in 1971, widely recognized for his vibrant and irreverent aesthetic rooted in Mexican pop culture, lucha libre, horror B-movies, surf music, and psychedelia. Based between Buenos Aires and Mexico City for much of his career, Alderete developed a distinctive visual language that blends lowbrow art, underground comics, and Latin American kitsch, earning him an international reputation within the worlds of illustration, poster art, and independent publishing.
