James Bridle

James Bridle is a British artist, writer, and technologist whose interdisciplinary practice explores the intersection of technology, politics, and society, examining how digital systems shape human experience and perception. Known for works such as 'Seamless Transitions' (2015), which visualized the invisible infrastructures of immigration detention, and the 'Drone Shadow' series that stenciled the outlines of military drones in public spaces, Bridle interrogates surveillance, warfare, and the opacity of algorithmic governance.
