Humberto et Fernando Campana

Humberto Campana (born 1953) and Fernando Campana (1961, 2022) were Brazilian designer brothers renowned for transforming everyday and discarded materials into iconic furniture and objects. Their studio, founded in São Paulo in 1983, gained international acclaim with works like the Vermelha and Favela chairs, which blend Brazilian culture, craft traditions, and avant-garde design. Their pieces are held in major museum collections worldwide, including MoMA and the Centre Pompidou, and regularly appear at major design and art auctions.
