Gronk is a founding member of the Chicano art collective ASCO, known for performance art, urban interventions, and large-scale expressionistic paintings. His 'Instant Murals' involved spray-painting signatures on buildings, while his later theatrical paintings explore urban narratives. His work is held by LACMA, the Smithsonian, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
