Gerrit van Battem (also spelled Battem) was a Dutch Golden Age painter active in the late 17th century, known primarily for his winter landscapes and outdoor scenes featuring figures on ice. He worked in Rotterdam and was associated with the tradition of Dutch landscape painting, often depicting frozen rivers and canals populated with skaters and townsfolk. His works reflect the influence of prominent Dutch masters of the period and appear regularly in Old Master auctions.
