François Le Moyne

François Le Moyne (1688, 1737) was a prominent French Rococo painter who won the prestigious Prix de Rome and rose to become Premier peintre du Roi under Louis XV. He served as a professor at the Académie royale de peinture et de sculpture and left a lasting legacy through his students, including François Boucher and Charles-Joseph Natoire.
