Irving creates installations, sculptures, and performances using organic materials like flowers, honey, and smoke to address themes of Black masculinity, queerness, and ritual. His ephemeral works explore transformation and healing. He has exhibited at the Studio Museum in Harlem, MoMA PS1, and the 2022 Venice Biennale.
