Dawit Petros

Dawit Petros is an Eritrean-Canadian contemporary artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans photography, installation, and video, often exploring themes of displacement, migration, and the African diaspora. His work critically examines colonial histories, borders, and the politics of movement, drawing on personal and collective experiences of exile. Petros has exhibited internationally and is known for projects that interrogate how identity is constructed within geopolitical and historical frameworks.
