Daphne Wright

Daphne Wright is an established Irish sculptor and installation artist known for her emotionally resonant works that address themes of mortality, grief, vulnerability, and the human body. Working primarily in materials such as plaster, wax, and taxidermy, she creates uncanny figures and environments that evoke both tenderness and unease. Her work has been exhibited widely across Europe and the United States, including at the Irish Museum of Modern Art and the 2003 Venice Biennale, and she is represented by Frith Street Gallery in London.
