Constant Nieuwenhuys (1920-2005) was a Dutch painter, sculptor, and theorist who co-founded the CoBrA movement, known for his expressive, abstract style blending influences from children's art and Nordic folk traditions. He was also a prominent urban planner and theorist who advocated for experimental approaches to city design and living spaces.
