Charles Walch

Charles Walch (1896, 1948) was a French painter of Alsatian origin known for his vibrant, expressionist-influenced canvases depicting landscapes, figures, and still lifes. A student of Jean-Paul Laurens at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he developed a distinctive colorist style that earned him recognition in the French art world during the interwar period. His works regularly appear at auction and are held in several French museum collections.
