Carlos Leppe
Chilean(1952–2015)
Leppe created performances, installations, and photographic works exploring body politics, sexuality, and identity under Pinochet's dictatorship. His transgressive performances challenged social norms and censorship. He was a key figure in Chilean neo-avant-garde and is celebrated in retrospectives at Chilean museums.
