Carlos Capelán

Carlos Capelán is a Uruguayan-born artist based in Sweden who works across painting, installation, drawing, and video, often incorporating text and maps to explore themes of identity, cultural hybridity, and postcolonial discourse. His practice draws on his experience as a Latin American artist living in Europe, interrogating borders, both geographic and cultural, and the politics of representation.
