Brigitte Kowanz

Brigitte Kowanz worked with light, neon, and language creating installations that explored communication, codes, and perception through illuminated text and mirrors. Her elegant neon works translated concepts into binary and Morse code examining information transmission. She represented Austria at the 2017 Venice Biennale and her work is held in major Austrian and European collections.
