Blanche Hoschedé-monet

Blanche Hoschedé-Monet (1865, 1947) was a French Impressionist painter and the stepdaughter and daughter-in-law of Claude Monet, whom she assisted and supported at Giverny throughout his later life. She developed her own distinctive style under Monet's profound influence, producing luminous landscape paintings that reflected the Impressionist preoccupation with light and nature. Her works, often depicting the gardens and water lilies of Giverny, have gained increasing recognition at auction as interest in her independent artistic contribution has grown.
