Billy Apple

Apple was a conceptual artist who legally changed his name as an artwork and explored branding, identity, and the commodification of art. His practice spanned six decades and included works like 'The Given as an Art Political Statement' and collaborations with Andy Warhol. He exhibited internationally and is held in collections at MoMA, Tate, and Auckland Art Gallery.
