Carmen Winant

Carmen Winant is an American artist and educator known for her large-scale photographic installations that explore themes of feminism, labor, birth, and collective memory. She works primarily with found and archival photography, assembling thousands of images into immersive wall installations that examine female experience and bodily autonomy. Winant is also a professor at the Ohio State University and a contributing editor at Art in America.
