Android Jones, born Andrew Jones, is an American digital artist widely recognized as one of the pioneering figures in the psychedelic and visionary art movement. Based primarily in the United States, he trained at the Ringling College of Art and Design and later worked as a concept artist for Nintendo before launching his independent artistic career. His work is characterized by hyper-detailed, luminous digital paintings that blend sacred geometry, Hindu and Buddhist iconography, cosmic imagery, and intricate fractal patterns into transcendent visual experiences. He is often referred to as a 'micro-painter' due to the extraordinary level of detail embedded within his large-scale compositions.
