Albert Pommier

Albert Pommier (1880, 1943) was a French illustrator and painter known for his dynamic figurative works, particularly his contributions to popular illustrated publications and satirical press in early 20th-century France. He was celebrated for his bold draughtsmanship, vivid color palette, and lively depictions of everyday life, sports, and social scenes. Pommier's illustrations appeared in numerous French magazines and he also produced oil paintings and watercolors that reflect the exuberant spirit of the Belle Époque and interwar periods.
