Alan Magee

Alan Magee (born 1947) is an American realist painter and printmaker known for his highly detailed, hyperrealistic depictions of stones, pebbles, and the human figure, often imbued with political and humanistic themes. He has exhibited widely in the United States and Europe, and his work is held in numerous public and private collections. Magee is also recognized for his cover illustrations for Atlantic Monthly and his fine art prints produced in collaboration with Burchfield Penney Art Center and other institutions.
