Nick Waplington

Nick Waplington is a British photographer and artist known for his raw, intimate documentary work as well as his more experimental and conceptual projects. He gained critical acclaim for his book 'Living Room' (1991), which depicted working-class family life in Nottingham with unflinching honesty, and has since explored themes ranging from street culture to abstract pattern-making. His work bridges documentary photography and fine art, and he has collaborated with figures such as Alexander McQueen, producing the acclaimed book 'Working Process' documenting the designer's final collection.
