Elling William Gollings

Elling William Gollings (1878, 1932) was an American painter and illustrator celebrated for his vivid depictions of the American West, particularly scenes of cowboys, Native Americans, and frontier life. Self-taught and deeply influenced by his experiences living among ranchers and Indigenous peoples in Wyoming, he developed a distinctive naturalistic style that earned him comparisons to Frederic Remington and Charles Russell.
