Tai Shani creates immersive installations, performances, and films that reimagine feminist histories and mythologies. She won the Turner Prize in 2019 as part of a four-way shared prize for her project "DC: Semiramis" and is known for her elaborate, theatrical worlds. Her work has been shown at the Serpentine Galleries and Somerset House.
