Etienne Beöthy (1897, 1961) was a Hungarian-French sculptor and theorist known for his elegant abstract forms rooted in mathematical and harmonic principles. He was a key figure in the Abstraction-Création movement in Paris during the 1930s and developed his own theory of the 'golden series' applied to sculptural form. His works, often carved in wood or stone, reflect a harmonious synthesis of organic abstraction and geometric rigor.
