Eddie Arning

Eddie Arning (1898, 1993) was an American outsider artist born in the farming community of Germania, Texas. He created the vast majority of his artwork while institutionalized for schizophrenia, producing bold and vibrant works often inspired by magazine advertisements and everyday imagery. His self-taught style and striking use of color brought him recognition as a significant figure in outsider and folk art.
