Cesare Maggi (1881, 1961) was an Italian painter renowned for his evocative landscape paintings, particularly his depictions of the Alps, Piedmontese countryside, and atmospheric mountain scenes bathed in light. He studied at the Accademia Albertina in Turin and became one of the most celebrated Italian landscape artists of the early twentieth century.
