Henry Chalfant

Henry Chalfant is an American photographer and videographer best known for documenting the rise of graffiti, breakdancing, and hip hop culture in New York City during the 1970s and 1980s. He co-authored the seminal book 'Subway Art' with Martha Cooper, which became one of the most influential publications in graffiti and street art history. His work has been widely credited with bringing global attention to the grassroots artistic movements emerging from urban communities.
