Bertil Vallien

Vallien creates sand-cast glass sculptures featuring figurative and symbolic imagery embedded in rough-surfaced forms, often incorporating boats and heads. His work with Kosta Boda and as an independent artist explored mystical and narrative content. He is among Scandinavia's most important glass artists with work in major international collections.
