Otto Natzler
Austrian-American(1908–2007)
Otto developed revolutionary ceramic glazes including craters, reduction surfaces, and volcanic effects for vessels thrown by his wife Gertrud Natzler. After her death, he continued creating sculptural forms with experimental surfaces. Their collaborative work redefined American studio pottery and is represented in over 100 museums worldwide.
