Allison Janae Hamilton

Allison Janae Hamilton is an American multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections of race, nature, folklore, and the American South. Working across photography, video, sculpture, and installation, she investigates how Black communities relate to land, climate, and mythology. Her practice draws on Southern Gothic traditions and ecological concerns, often centering rural Black life and its complex relationship with the natural world.
