Zubeida Agha

Zubeida Agha was a pioneering Pakistani modern artist who held the first post-independence art exhibition in Pakistan following its creation in 1947. She played a foundational role in introducing and establishing the modern artistic idiom in the newly formed nation. Her work helped shape the trajectory of contemporary Pakistani art.
