Gabriel Rico

Gabriel Rico is a Mexican contemporary artist born in 1980 in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, who creates sculptural installations and assemblages that juxtapose natural and industrial materials to explore tensions between nature, culture, and human perception. His work often incorporates found objects, taxidermy, geometric forms, and neon elements arranged according to self-imposed logical systems and taxonomies. Rico has gained international recognition through participation in major art fairs and exhibitions, with his works appearing at Christie's, Sotheby's, and Phillips auction houses.
