María Magdalena Campos-Pons

Campos-Pons creates photography, performance, and multimedia installations exploring African diaspora, memory, and Cuban identity. Her 'History of a People Who Were Not Heroes' series uses Polaroid and mixed media to address displacement and heritage. Her work is held by the Smithsonian, MoMA, and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
