Walangkura Napanangka is a renowned Aboriginal Australian painter from the Western Desert region, known for her vibrant depictions of Tingari Dreaming stories and women's ceremonies. Born around 1940 near Kiwirrkura in Western Australia, she began painting in the late 1990s and quickly gained international recognition for her bold, densely patterned compositions. Her works are held in major collections including the National Gallery of Australia and have achieved significant results at auction houses such as Sotheby's and Deutscher and Hackett.
