Nigel Henderson (1917, 1985) was a British artist and photographer closely associated with the Independent Group at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. He is best known for his experimental photographic techniques, including photograms, collage, and 'stressed' photographs that explored texture, fragmentation, and urban life. His work bridged fine art and photography, and he collaborated with Eduardo Paolozzi and the Smithsons on influential exhibitions such as 'Parallel of Life and Art' (1953).
