Dawit L. Petros

Dawit L. Petros is an Eritrean-born, Canadian-raised contemporary artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans photography, video, installation, and performance. His work critically examines themes of migration, displacement, postcolonialism, and the African diaspora, often drawing on his own experience of statelessness and nomadic identity. Petros has exhibited internationally and is recognized for his conceptually rigorous investigations into geopolitics, memory, and belonging.
