Nicole Wermers creates sculptures and installations that investigate consumer culture, public and private space, and the aesthetics of everyday objects. She was nominated for the Turner Prize in 2015 for her series "Infrastruktur" featuring bistro chairs with fur coats draped over them. Her work is held by the Tate, Kunstmuseum Basel, and the Stedelijk Museum.
