A monumental site-specific thread installation by Gabriel Dawe, 'Plexus no. 43' (2023) cascades diagonally across a multi-story stairwell in a sweeping gradient of spectral color—violet through red, orange, yellow, and blue—evoking the optical diffusion of light and a prismatic rainbow effect. Thousands of individual threads are stretched between painted wood and steel hooks, creating an immersive, three-dimensional textile field that transforms architectural space.
