Green Treasure II
2025
Green Treasure II is a luminescent, totem-like hanging sculpture by Camilla Moberg, handcrafted in blown glass at Nuutajärvi, Finland's oldest glassmaking village. Seven stacked ovoid forms—ranging from solid turquoise and teal to vivid multicolored patterned discs—are suspended from a single wire, evoking stacked stones as ancient symbols of communication and guidance. Drawing inspiration from the iridescent colors of insects and birds, the work celebrates biodiversity while reflecting on the fragility of natural ecosystems. Presented by Galerie Maria Wettergren at TEFAF 2025, the sculpture combines sculptural elegance with an integrated LED light source that amplifies its jewel-like translucency.

Roni Horn
American · b. 1955

Roni Horn creates stacked and serialized glass sculptures with luminous, jewel-like ovoid and cylindrical forms that share the same totem-like verticality and light-transmitting quality as Green Treasure II. Her deep engagement with nature, materiality, and environmental themes in Scandinavia makes her work a particularly close parallel.
Jochen Holz
German · b. 1970
Jochen Holz handblows suspended glass sculptures featuring stacked biomorphic forms with vivid iridescent and multicolored patterning that closely mirrors the vibrant teal and turquoise palette and hanging structure of Green Treasure II. His work similarly celebrates organic forms found in nature through the luminescent qualities of handcrafted glass.
Tomas Libertiny
Slovak · b. 1979
Tomas Libertiny creates conceptually driven sculptures that fuse natural world references including insects and biodiversity with luminous handcrafted materials, exploring themes of ecology and spirituality in ways that mirror the conceptual and environmental intentions of Green Treasure II. His stacked and totemic sculptural language also echoes the ancient symbolic resonance Moberg builds into her hanging glass forms.
