Luis Tomasello (1915–2014) was an Argentine-born artist who became a central figure in the Op Art and Kinetic Art movements, spending much of his career in Paris. He is best known for his 'Atmosphères Chromoplastiques,' three-dimensional white relief works featuring geometric cubic or prismatic forms attached to white surfaces that refract color and light, creating dynamic optical illusions of color and movement. His work bridges painting and sculpture, exploring the interplay between light, color, and spatial perception, and has been exhibited in major museums worldwide.
