Adam Pendleton works primarily in painting, collage, and video, exploring language, abstraction, and Black radical thought through his ongoing "Black Dada" series. His work combines text, gestural marks, and appropriated imagery to interrogate the relationship between blackness and abstraction. He is represented in the collections of MoMA, the Whitney Museum, and the Guggenheim.
