Josh Kline's '15% Service (Applebee's Waitress' Head)' is a 2018 work consisting of 3D-printed sculptures in plaster with inkjet ink and cyanoacrylate, presented on a custom tray and wooden stand. This work critically engages with labor, service culture, and contemporary manufacturing through hyperrealistic portraiture. Kline's use of 3D printing technology creates a commentary on mass production and the commodification of human identity.
