Tacita Dean

Tacita Dean is a filmmaker and artist who works primarily in 16mm film, creating contemplative works that explore time, chance, obsolescence, and the medium of analog film itself. Her works often focus on landscapes, architecture, and individuals pursuing quixotic projects. She has had major exhibitions at Tate Britain, MoMA, and the Guggenheim, and represented Britain at the Venice Biennale.
