Imre Kinszki (1901–1945) was a Hungarian amateur photographer whose work is celebrated for its modernist aesthetic and intimate portrayal of everyday life in Budapest during the 1930s. His photographs, often featuring his daughter Judit as a subject, demonstrate a masterful use of light, shadow, and geometric composition influenced by the broader European avant-garde movement. Kinszki perished in the Holocaust in 1945, and his legacy was largely preserved through his surviving body of work, which has gained significant recognition in the photography world posthumously.
