Hema Upadhyay

Hema Upadhyay created installations, sculptures, and photographs exploring urban transformation, informal settlements, and the politics of space in Mumbai. Her works included miniature architectural models of slums and site-specific installations. She exhibited at the Venice Biennale, Tate Modern, and major Indian institutions before her tragic death.
