Haegue Yang

Haegue Yang creates installations using venetian blinds, drying racks, and light bulbs, exploring diaspora, labor, and sensory experience. Her abstract sculptures and multimedia works address displacement and modernist aesthetics. She represented Korea at the Venice Biennale and is collected by MoMA and the Centre Pompidou.
